The Top 5 Cameras Out Today

Nikon D850

The Nikon D850 is everything you could want in a DSLR camera. Whether you want to shoot wildlife, extreme action, or landscape photographs, the Nikon D850 is extremely well rounded and will produce the most beautiful and detailed images possible. It’s incredible mix of resolution and speed- a 45.7 megapixel back-illuminated sensor working alongside a maximum 9-frames-per-second burst speed- makes it the most amazing full-framed camera to exist today. And let’s not forget the 153-point AF system, which can focus down to almost pitch-black level at -4EV! The Nikon D850 also has an incredible 0.75x optical viewfinder, which is the largest magnification ever included on an FX Nikon DSLR. It also encompasses a ‘crop preview feature’ which greys out areas of the frame when shooting in aspect ratios smaller or larger than 3:2. This is unique because it shows you what the final composition will look like while you’re actually shooting.

The touch interface on the Nikon D850 brings you options like touch-to-focus, and playback features which allow you to swipe through your shots or pinch to zoom. It also includes ports for headphones, a microphone, USB 3, and HDMI, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth Low Energy so you can transfer images to mobile devices. It really is a multimedia machine.

Sony A9

The Sony A9 is an incredible mirrorless camera that can shoot at 20 photos per second, with full autofocus.  It is the world's first full-frame stacked CMOS sensor, with 24.2-megapixel resolution. And, just as importantly, it has super low viewfinder lag and absolutely no blackout during continuous shooting, along with improved low light performance, and sharper pixel-level imagery. The Sony A9 also offers silent shooting, so it can capture all the right moments without any interruption from the clacking of a conventional shutter.

Fujifilm GFX-50S

The Fujifilm GFX-50S has a 51.4-megapixel resolution, and a 43.8 x 32.9mm CMOS Sensor, along with a 425 points of contrast detection autofocus- and so all in it can produce some of the most breath-taking images you’ll ever see. Its image sensor delivers superb images even in difficult light, and the Image noise itself is reduced due to the increased size of each individual pixel. Sharpness and dynamic range are very high quality in this camera, and it can shoot wider images with a comparatively longer focal length. The Fujifilm GFX-50S is sealed to prevent dust and moisture from getting inside, and so are all of its available lenses- so it is perfect for all weather conditions. This all-weather design is a big advantage if you want to capture photos in the outdoors, where rain and wind would be big problems for other cameras. It allows you to get great shots no matter the circumstance.

Panasonic Lumix GH5

The Panasonic Lumix is not just all about photos, for it can easily record 4K videos at 60 fps/50 frames per second and comes with a wide array of videography options which makes it a pretty good camera for shooting videos. It has many other 4k features, like post focusing, focus stacking, and 30-fps bursts, along with a 5-stop Dual I.S image stabilisation system which steadies the camera and the focus. It now has a 225 point autofocus system which allows you to track movement better and focus better.

GoPro HERO6 Black

Go-pros are the most durable and tiny, adventure resistant cameras out there today, so if you are looking for something to record your sporting activities this is the camera for you. The GoPro HERO6 Black has super-slow-motion video at a high resolution, output a stabilized image in 4K, and can transfer everything to your phone at faster speeds. The HERO6 gives you the option to achieve a tremendous level of stabilization through its stabilization system, by almost eliminating camera shake caused by handheld movement and walking. It can furthermore achieve a solid level of dynamic range, for it can capture exposed areas in a photo while still maintaining detail in shadowed areas. Whilst the GoPro HERO6 is often thought of to be good for capturing only videos, it can also capture pretty impressive still photos. Whilst these may not be to the highest resolution standard as other cameras, the focus and perspective is still great- and is perfect if your goal is to simply share the images on social media.
